Sofie Gets Baptized

Sofia Joyce Jones was baptized on May 8, 2010. This is a sweet picture of her with her confirmation dress on. She is such a sweet girl with a very generous nature. Sofie is a wonderful big sister.
Sofie was baptized by her father, Steve and confirmed by him also. Lots of people attended a lunch at our home. She had Jones family, Hancock family and friends who had moved from Vegas to Utah. Steve's friend, Josh also attended. He has a great story of the "Sponge Bob" car that he ticked off on his way to the baptism. You'll have to read his blog.

Swimming in April

It was a bit chilly but the girls were determined to get into the pool. The weather was probably 50 degrees and the water we had warmed up to 80. Lauren got brave and went on the slide.

You can see the snow on the mountains. It just doesn't matter to kids. These Vegas girls are tough.

Sarah and I are "fair weather" swimmers. We like to see the sunshine and temps in the 80s would be nice. It was a fun weekend. I still have pictures to post of the baptism. Stay tuned.

Our Newest Graduate

Here is sweet Caitlan at Weber State University Graduation. She will be student teaching this next fall. She is shown with her mother Carol and her sister Jenna. Congrats Caitlan.
Caitlan graduated in the same program as Jamie Gallegos (sorry Jamie I cannot remember the married name) and our grownup Shannon Nielsen. Way to go ladies. Shannon is on the cusp of getting married herself. The date is set for the middle of July.
Joel said he has a "sugar mama." Don't be going crazy spending all that money Caitlan will be making as a teacher. Needless to say....we are very proud.
